Welcome to Learn to RV, the podcast. This is the Beyond the Brand series where we dive deep into learning about the brands that are around this space and more about the stories on where they've come from and where they're going in the future. So we're so excited today. We have Melissa Bond on the podcast from Rivet Supply. Welcome, Melissa.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, thanks for having me. I'm Melissa from Rivet Supply Co. And we are a business that helps people create and capture their memories. So we are super passionate about families and friends coming together, making memories together, and then capturing those memories through the collecting of stickers. So we have created a sticker board called the original adventure board. And it is literally a board. They're made out of eighth-inch acrylic. And then my husband has designed a cool, like different landscapes on the top of them so that when you hang it up wherever you should hang it up, you put your stickers on it and it looks beautiful like a forest or a mountain or a desert or an ocean. And you can remember your adventures. And then we also have a map, same idea. It's a map the United States. And then as you go, it has a sticker book and you add stickers of the states that you've been to as you go. So that that's the beginning and kind of the heart of our products at this point. Of like, we want people not just to make the memories, but to really capture them through collecting of stickers.

SPEAKER_01

We actually have a couple of them. We have three of them, and we love um the map is one of my favorites just because we, as full timers, our map is on the side of our rig. It's beaten down by the sun.

SPEAKER_00

We've gone through three and five years.

SPEAKER_01

So normally, you know what you see is a sticker map on the side of a underbelly door or something like that. And obviously, first off, it they fade and they get all the you're putting stickers on top of a sticker, so they start to uh peel pretty quick. And then also our friends who've purchased new rigs, they you can't move your map. And so I love the acrylic board. You can put your you know you can put your individualized stickers on there, and then you know where you've been, and you can move it. Um, for people that are in homes, you know, who aren't full-time like us, you can take your map out and put it on your wall at home, and and you kind of have this lasting experience that moves out of the RV and into the home as well. So we love that's again, that's my favorite one is the map. But the adventure board, we have the desert.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, being from Arizona, we love that you could personalize the top of them. So we picked the desert because that was home. And uh, so yeah, that's our main adventure board. And then something else we love that you guys do is personalization. So, does that something you always did, or did that come later on in the in the process? Ours says adventuring with the Brams.

SPEAKER_03

Good question. Actually, the very first adventure board did have personalization, so that's kind of how that started. We named our camper Rosie, and we personalized the first one with Rosie. So then we thought, well, let's do it for everybody. That's so fun, right? It's part of the fun. Our memories, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's and it's smart because we we have never named our RV, probably probably partially because it's our house. So maybe, you know, I don't know many people who would name their house, but you never know. You know, I hadn't I had never thought about putting the name of your RV name on there, and like I know tons of people who call their RV names like Rosie and stuff like that. So that's cool. It's smart. Ours is boring, ours just says the Brams on it. We're gonna adventure together, whatever, not with our cool house.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, your family is so cool. That is cool. Love the Brams. We are your biggest fans, so we are huge fans of the Brams, so this is gonna be fun. I love it.

SPEAKER_00

We're just gonna fangirl over each other the whole time.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, I think that's so fun.

SPEAKER_00

That's so fun. So, how long have you guys been around? Where did your brand start? Kind of give us a little backstory.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, so I grew up camping my whole life. My grandparents had a camper, and um, we would go with my brother and I would go with them in the summer to a little state park nearby called China Lakes. Love it. So I've just always been like my dad's into Boy Scouts, I've always been outdoors and loved camping. Justin also grew up camping and loves the outdoors and all the things. Well, we spent the first part of our marriage tent camping and loving that with our kids, being outside, making so many memories, like it was so awesome. And we started to get older, our kids started to get older, and we're like, how awesome would it be if we had a camper? I became obsessed with the green R pods like from 2012. Yes, just aren't they cool? They're so cool. If we could fit with our family, like yeah, we actually tried, we thought for a minute, just fine. It'll be great, it'll be great. So I became obsessed with that. We started looking and you know, but then finally it was just kind of like, you know, this does make sense, the time seems right. But Justin had always wanted an airstream. He says he saw one in a in like a parking lot when he was a kid, and he was like, Someday I'm gonna have an airstream. So he's the researcher, he was like, Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's do this. So we found one that was used. I honestly didn't know much about airstreams. In fact, I like called the people and I'm like, hey, this is like all it was a 2022 and it was the year 2022. I'm like, this is still like brand new. What happened? And they're like, Well, they decided to it was too small, they were gonna go international. If you are an airstream person, that is like a line of airstream. I had no idea, and I was like, that's a big jump, like from camping to international travel, but good for them. So I had no idea. I didn't know either. Yeah, you just taught me right now. There you go. So my airstream people are gonna be like, huh, if you're not, it's a thing. Anyway, so we bought our first airstream and it's just 16 feet. We sleep in the camper, our kids slept outside in tents, they were teenagers, it's fine, and really just enjoy that. But after our first trip, I was like, we went to the store, I got a sticker from Mount State Park, and I'm like, this is awesome, put it on the camper. And Justin was like, and you're not putting that on the camper. Like, we just absolutely not bought this camper, we are not putting it on the door of the camper. So he just kind of like has you when you get to know Justin, he just is a genius, like creative. And so he was just kind of like apparently noodling over it, thinking about it. And then uh a couple weeks later, I he we were getting ready to go on a camping trip, and he was like, Hey, come on, I'm gonna show you something. And he had cut the very first ever adventure board, what is now the adventure board, and put it on our camping door. And so I was like, Oh, it's so pretty, you know, and so cool. That's how it started. So I love it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Well, and I love that you like you you just told him I want this, and he was just like instantly like, I got this. I'm gonna go fix it, I'm gonna solve this problem for you and every camper across the country. We got you. Like, that's what a fun thing. Like it was I got the first try.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and it's so simple, like it was just such a simple thing. But what I love about it and about him is like, I'm like, hey, we can buy a poster board or we can buy a piece of like just fine, like you can do that. But he's like, we want this to be pretty, like he wants it to look nice and like enjoy looking at it and seeing it. So it just kind of like adds to the experience because it's so if you haven't seen them, it's like outdoorsy. It has a the first one had trees, so it was trees on the top, and you're just like, Oh, I'm camping and there's a forest, and it's just dreamy. Yeah, so we did that. We collected stickers for ourselves. I mean, we made it for ourselves. So it wasn't like, oh, let's start a business. It was just like, oh, let's collect stickers and not put them on the camper.

SPEAKER_00

So um that's how so Melissa, tell us your awe moment when you guys felt like this really is something that people are passionate about, that other people can get behind, where you really felt like this is something that you wanted to take on.

SPEAKER_03

So in I think it was 2023, we decided, okay, let's let's do it. And I remember I just started like on Instagram looking up RVers, and I was like, maybe we can see if some RVers will like, if we give them one, if they'll like post about it. And really no like real marketing experience, just like, hey, that feels like it could work. And yeah, I remember, yeah, like let's try it. And first of all, that's when I found out that people full-time RV. No idea. I was like, Really? People are doing this. I had no idea. I was like, That's so funny. I love that. It was a new thing for me, like, but it was awesome. So then I became obsessed with like following everybody. He had talked with Patty Gills, and Patty Gills uh has an Instagram and YouTube called Gills on Wheels. They were full timers, they are full timers. And she posted a reel right at Black Friday time-ish. And it had the first link of like we made the website live, she posted a reel, and it was like we had like 15 orders. And I know it doesn't sound like tons, but I was like, my word, people like they want this. This is cool. Yeah. So that was the first where it was like, okay, this is really this is cool. And then probably my biggest aha moment that I just I mean over the moon was Jess and I were riding our scooters at Brown County State Park in Indiana. We're from Indiana, and I was riding my scooter and I saw one in the wild. And I was like, They have an adventure board. Like I saw an adventure board on somebody's. I mean, I was like freaking out excited. And we had sold, I don't know how many. We had sold quite a few by then, but I mean we shipped them all over the US. And so this was like my first of like this, and they're like, We love it, we collect this, we do that. You know, here's where we went here, here's where we went that. And so that was just the best moment, and that's happened a few more times since then, and it's just like it's the best. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I love it.

SPEAKER_01

It's cool that you get a chance to, you know, people are more willing to put some of their adventures on their camper, uh, knowing that they can move it, especially something like a, you know, your your airstream where you're like, you know, I have these pretty aluminum doors and all the stuff. I don't want to, you know, I don't want to put these stickers on it. And you know, really it opens up a conversation. I think I know multiple people that that can be one of the first things I've talked about with them is you know, seeing their board, of course, you know, hearing their story on why they picked it, and then also what type of adventures they've experienced through having their collection of stickers right there, easy to see, easy to to enjoy, and hearing their experiences that collected that sticker. That's so fun.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. It's I mean, we love that. So kind of we started talking a little bit the heart behind behind it, right? Is that I have always, in fact, my kids will make fun of this. Justin and I, we have a blended family. We have we I have four kids, he has two kids, and we married. So, and that can be a challenge. Like anybody who's out there, I'll be real about stories. That can be a challenge. But um, the kids would make fun of me because I'd always be like, You guys, guess what we're doing right now? We're like, we're making a memory. We're and I have to have a moment. So I'm like, we're making a memory, good or bad, you know, we're making a memory. And I think that if you look back, there are moments that stick out in your life more than others. And so, and sometimes those are for lots of reasons, but a lot of times those moments where we collect something, it sounds cheesy, but like in the middle of all the things, every family has things that are hard. If you can get yourself outdoors and go do something fun, it does not have to be expensive, it doesn't have to be crazy. I mean, we just got this cute sticker from a nearby nature preserve that is free. You just go out there, and I felt like I just love the fact that families could do that and you can make a memory together, you can point to it. And some days when you're like, man, my kids are teenagers and all the things. You can be like, but did you see all the cool stuff we did together? Like that was fun. So right.

SPEAKER_00

And I think too, like it's so great for so many people who love to adventure. Capturing memories while you adventure, other than pictures, is often hard. Nobody wants to always have like a tchotchke. You can't have a t-shirt for everything or a hat. And so stickers have become such a great way to capture adventures for the minimalists, people who want to live small, um, you know, full timers or just anybody, I think wanting to just not have a lot of stuff. And so the sticker board is so good because it's just one central place to keep all those memories. And and yeah, like you said, it's it's a constant, it's like a scrapbook. It's like a living scrapbook for all the places you've been to.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. Yeah. And do don't you guys do um custom stickers as well?

SPEAKER_03

So great. I was gonna say this a new thing, and also these things all come from many of our deals come from me being like, wouldn't it be fun if we had this? And I just had the idea, but then Justin like can make it happen. So the idea of putting a photo in the states. So we had talked about that. I mean, they we're not the first to think of that. They're on Etsy, where you can see like kind of huge ones in your house, right? That you can buy and you can put a photo in it. So I was like, wouldn't it be cool if we could like put our photos on the states or whatever? And Justin's like, Yeah, I can do that. Like, okay. So that is something that you can now do is that you can upload your own photo and then you choose which state you want to put it in, and then you put your own memory in that state, and we send it to you, and then you add it to your adventure board. And it has been fun to watch them come in. People are excited about that, and to and we do physically make all of those stickers ourselves, and so we'll see them come in, and people I'm like, how fun is this? They're doing all these. Um, yeah. And soon to come is just the adventure sticker studio where you can do any shape that you could upload a photo and put on your adventure board.

SPEAKER_00

So that's super cool. Yes. Oh, I'm so excited about that. Because yeah, there's so many things that it's like, you know, like Texas. Texas is massive to pick one memory from all of Texas or one memory from all of Florida, like that's a commitment. So yeah, if I could make custom stickers too, that's really exciting.

SPEAKER_01

So obviously, people know you for the adventure board. And but you know, your name, your website, Rivet Supply Co, what does that mean?

SPEAKER_03

That is such a good question. And I'm so glad you asked that we can get that out there. So Rivet Supply Co. came from when this started, Justin was thinking, this will just be for airstreams. We made it out of this uh like plastic on purpose because it curves a little bit and the airstream door has a curve to it. So rivet is something that is in airstreams, they have all these little rivets that hold things together. So we picked Rivet Supply Co. Well, we quickly were like, this is for everyone, it's not just for an airstream. But by then it was like we'd already done all this work with Rivet Supply Co. So we kept it. It's funny that the number of people now that will just say they have a rivet board. Having said that, we are grateful that that has kind of led to a cool partnership. We have been able to partner with Airstream and we are in their Airstream Supply Company website and also in their Airstream Supply Company store at the Airstream factory. So we live in Indiana, it's actually in Ohio, so we got to go over there. They put an adventure board and a map on their like display unit in the store. And I love it. That was also another like seriously moment of wow, that's so cool. So yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I remember seeing you guys post that on Instagram that your your partnership with with Airstream, and I was so happy for you guys. I was like, what a perfect combination, and couldn't have happened to better people. So we're so we're that's such a cool partnership.

SPEAKER_03

That was that was so sweet of you. And yeah, yes, we were we were thrilled. We are thrilled. I mean, we love we love the we love the RV community, we love the Airstream community. It's just they're the best.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, one of our one of one of the experiences I have that is very memorable to me about seeing a adventure board on uh it was on an airstream, and we were up in um in Idaho. We were going on the edge of Idaho going over to Yellowstone, and they had Airstream was doing a camp airstream like event for the summer. And so I'm walking over. I love airstreams. We because of our full timing, we probably would probably have too many kids. Yeah, we could do it, but I I really like the space of our fifth wheel.

SPEAKER_00

That'll be a one day when our kids are gone.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe when we're maybe when we're without the kids, but I still really love the you know the style of the airstreams and the and the functionality, and and I'm over there looking at all these cool versions of the airstream that people owned and what they'd customized, and then I see an adventure board, and I'm like, that's cool. And somebody happens to walk out. I'm like, hey, I really like your adventure board. And it ends up he this was somebody who worked for Airstream, and he's like, We bought the adventure board before the before we had the trailer. He's like, before we had this trailer, he's like, we wanted it. As soon as we got this trailer, he's like, We loved it, and I it was just such a cool experience. We it sparked a really fun conversation and uh about the adventures they'd taken in their Airstream and the opportunities they had. So they only had a couple stickers on it at the time, but again, just seeing it, it's a great conversation starter to just be able to look at somebody's board and be like, I've been there.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that makes me so happy. Like that just makes me so excited. I I love that. So yeah, yeah. It's crazy that this just small thing, but you I really do think that it is um it's something that just helps people connect, which by the way, I was like, maybe it's okay that we call it rivet because a rivet is something that connects things. I'm like, look, it's like rivet supply code connections. That might be too far.

SPEAKER_00

Well, and I and something else to like to note, because like we've known you since early on. We've worked with you because we adore the product personally. Like we just we love it, we love sharing it. We feel like it fills a great spot in our life too. So something though that all of us influencers talk about who work with you is that we love you, Melissa. Like you are just a genuine, lovely human. Love working with people, you love your product, and I think it just shines through like a lot of what you guys do. And Justin too, even though he's not here, we all adore Justin too.

SPEAKER_03

He's just it's he's just the he's just the uh introvert creating the stuff while I'm talking about it, which is kind of true.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna I was gonna say, like, anytime if if you've ever seen your booth at any of the shows, it's always funny because you're usually talking to somebody and enjoying a conversation, and Justin's back in the back, kind of like it's it always feels like he's back in the back, like contemplating, okay, how can I make this better? How can I yeah, how can I improve this that quality of this product? It's but he's he's a blast to talk to and and hang out with, you know, once once you crack his shell a little.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly, exactly. It's so fun. Uh he loves he does love to talk and move people, but it does drain him.

SPEAKER_00

So so then tell us what's new coming in 2026.

SPEAKER_03

Ooh, I love it. So the first thing that has already come in 2026, but I will talk about it, is our National Park sticker book. So we partnered with another full-time RVer. They're so pretty. Lauren Campbell with our adventure stream. So you follow her. She designed the uh the landscapes that are in all of our national park stickers, and then Justin kind of collabed them together into a sticker. And so it's this beautiful book that has all of the national parks in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Um, and it's just it's beautiful. It's yeah, in 2026, and it's great. You should you should get one. Um, it's meant to go with your adventure board, they're kind of like oval stickers, and then as you go, you add it to your adventure board to show that you've been to that national park. We just prototyped this. Like I'm gonna say it's a yes, but it's 2026, as most of you know, it's the 250th birthday for America. And so we just prototyped if you're watching this top of an adventure board, it will be the whole board, not this, but it basically looks like if you're only listening, part of a flag, and then it says 250th, and then 1976 through 2026 on it. It's so fun.

SPEAKER_00

I think that's gonna be a hit.

SPEAKER_03

I know limited edition.

SPEAKER_00

Ooh, limited edition. So you're only gonna sell them for a little while.

SPEAKER_03

We're gonna make 250 of them like that.

SPEAKER_00

Super limited. Look at you.

SPEAKER_03

Super limited. Love it. 250 for 250.

SPEAKER_00

One of the order I pre-order, neither for my adventure board collection.

SPEAKER_01

I know. Genuinely, our we have a wall that we're it's gonna be all adventure boards soon.

SPEAKER_00

We have the one that we keep on our door. So that's the one where we put like our top favorite adventures and our friends' travel stickers. Um, and then we actually did something cool that we really liked last year. We went on a big 25 states in 2025, and it was this big adventure. We did 17,000 miles across the country. We touched 36 states, but we did 25 new states that we've never been to. Um, we wrapped up our lower 48. So our adventure map now is full. Like there's we got them all. It's so cool. I know. And so we actually bought a separate sticker board. So it was personalized with the brand's 25 states in 2025. And so the only thing on this board is all the stickers from the only thing. Like it's full. Because we got stickers from everywhere, every ice cream shop, every national park, everywhere we went uh on this, you know, it was five month adventure. Um, we put, and so that is a fun memory in itself of this. Like crazy road trip we went on. Um, so that's just another way to use the adventure board. I felt like it was like just the perfect thing for that adventure. It's something we're all gonna remember forever. Um and so yeah, that was just like a special.

SPEAKER_03

I love that. And you know, in like 20 years, when you're like having Thanksgiving and somebody's looking at the adventure board and you're like, remember that you know, I'm feeling nostalgic. Our youngest is graduating high school, so it's like this whole thing. That's a big thing. It's it's you're like, wow, we could like go out to dinner and not have to worry about a babysitter or something. But then you get there and you're like, also, it's kind of sad.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So this is your last one graduating. Is that what you said?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my goodness. So your last high school graduate. Oh, yeah, that's a big milestone. That's a big one.

SPEAKER_03

It's a big milestone, yeah. It's really cool though, because I mean, I do I will say for those of you that are joining that phase, it's like this very weird, like it's also exciting because you're like, I mean, you don't want them to stay forever. Like that's the that's the sad. Like you're like, oh, it's sad if they're leaving, but you're also like, and you're 30, like you should go, you know. But um they it's it's like fun to watch them, you know, be on their own and and learn and grow and all the stuff.

SPEAKER_01

So the oldest is 23, and they're still young, but and you're and obviously, you know, between uh the two of you guys, you've you have this really entrepreneurial spirit. Um you are uh you have another job as well. Rivet is not your only job, is that correct?

SPEAKER_03

That is correct. Like there may be a day and and whatever, but uh it's not, and quite honestly, I it's not because it couldn't be. And not like, oh, it could be, but truly, so I work another I work another job, I work at a university, Justin has a business, and I love that. And for this time, it's a it's a great thing and it's great for a family. But there's something also really fun about running a business that is not your main like provider in life, yeah. Right. So it's no pressure, it's just like this is gonna be really cool and really fun. And I hope that it I mean, we want it to do well, and I hope to, you know, grow it and have it be big, of course. Like I love that. And I do think I'm entering a phase of life where I can put more and more time into it, but there is something just kind of special about like this is just something that we love. We yeah, and so yes, we do work other than that.

SPEAKER_01

And I and I and I obviously don't ask that to be like so you guys aren't uh you know making it. But no, it's uh you know, I I love I love to help people who are looking around and going, could I start that? Could I do that? Yeah, I have this idea, but I don't know. I don't only have a laser cutter in and you know, like I can't just drop everything and do that. So I love hearing that that is that oh yeah, passion project allows you to have fun and enjoy it, but also that it's it is something that you're you're gonna continue to do because you love, you're gonna be continue to be innovative, not because you have to be, but because you get to be.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, exactly. And that would be, I mean, I love that you I love that you put it that way. We do have a passion for small businesses, and Justin has another business that even helps small businesses. But the idea that is my number one tip to anybody who is thinking about, hey, I kind of want to, you know, like you said, make this a business or or go for it, support my family, do something like that. Do it while you're still working something else. You you hustle, you put the and if it's fun. I mean, I can't tell you the number of times that I have package orders myself till two in the morning. Like, but I don't, it's it's it's part of it, right? But it's fun because you're not like, man, if I don't get another order, I can't make the mortgage or pay the, you know, the truck payment or whatever it is. That's so it's kind of nice like that. It's just like you get to, and yes, it it goes a little bit slower. I've been really grateful because of the fact that we have sort of taken this as it goes, you know, and I'm proud of how far it's grown. We do have over 75 affiliate partners that we've worked with. We have sold, I don't know the exact number I could find it, but it's in the thousands of them. And it's just been really cool to watch grow. I also think when you grow small or when you when you grow slowly, you make small mistakes and you pivot before they're huge mistakes. So that has been really cool for us. And then the other thing that is just, and I would encourage anyone who's like a maker, because we make things ourselves, like we are very we're an all cash business in the sense like we don't have to we didn't have to go order like you know five million from overseas or something. We just literally make the you know, we get the plastic from an ear in town place um and we cut them ourselves. So and we've we're slowly bringing on teams. So on our team, we have um stand with always take the detour helps with partnering with our affiliates. My neighbor, Lincoln, he is a senior in high school, he cuts adventure boards. So yeah, which is my background is in teaching and in youth development and all the things. So, like I love the fact that the neighbors were like, Hey, do you you guys want to hire somebody? Like, our kids are looking for work. And I'm like, I love this. This is fun. Um, we have another girl who does a lot of our vinyl and she makes our shipping labels and stuff like that. And so that's been super fun. And then our favorite employee is my dad. He is not actually an employee, but he comes once a week or once every other week. He's like, Melissa, I just need gas money, or you could make me snickerdoodles, and he runs the CNC all day just because he loves it.

SPEAKER_00

So I love that. So it's a family business, and you're investing in the next generation, which is like we're big on that too. Like, we've always worked with kids and youth. And so, yeah, being able to have a business where you invest in the future, like that's awesome. I love that so much.

SPEAKER_03

It's really fun, it's really fun to train them how to do, you know, and then um that we can like in fact, so the entrepreneur spirit and fun, fun random story about the neighbors. So our neighbors have become we live in a house still, we go RVing part-time, but our neighbors are all really close. They we have a fantastic neighborhood we're grateful for. Well, during COVID, all the neighbor kids are like getting really bored. And I was a teacher, and I I don't even know exactly how I came up with it, but so when you were a teacher, if your kid took off the mask, it was like just hanging, you're like, put it back on. Well, I end up getting all of the neighbor kids. There's like eight of them, and they're all making mask lanyards. They'd come over out, stand outside, I give them their little supplies, and then they'd bring it back, and then I'd give them money, and then we all went to the farmer's market, like me and all the neighbor kids, and they're selling their mask lanyards. So it's just like so, I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

It's very yeah, and you're such an entrepreneur, like you're just like, I love that. That is so fun. I love it.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, it's just it's just kind of fun, and I love to make things and be outside, so yeah, yeah. Yeah, but that's our team. Small for now, but growing. That's awesome.

SPEAKER_00

And I feel like for sure we're gonna see new awesome things coming because I feel like every time I see you guys, because you've only been around for like three years now, and every time I see you, you come up with something new, which I love. You guys are so creative. I think that's cool. That's really fun. Well, I appreciate it.

SPEAKER_01

So amazing. It's fun.

SPEAKER_03

I have more ideas than we have time for, quite frankly.

SPEAKER_01

I'm like just we know the feeling.

SPEAKER_00

We say that all the time too. It's that entrepreneurial spirit that's almost dangerous, but it's funny because I'm the same as you. I'll be like, Joel, I have this idea, and he's like, What you got? Or he'll do the same thing to me, and it's like, uh oh.

SPEAKER_02

You're like, oh, what are we getting into now?

SPEAKER_03

Let's let's do it. Let's do it. I know. I'm always and I've always been like that. I'm like, I have an idea. It's been fun working with working with Justin too. Like, we are a good mix of I'm like, yes, the idea. And he's like, and this is how we could actually do it, or like dial it back up. Yeah. Um but yeah, for now, and then we so I think it's interesting about any business, as you talk about like behind the brand. Something that I really appreciate about our brand, and really it came from Justin, so I'll say I appreciate about him. But we have tried to be very thoughtful about making the adventure board and and the adventure map and everything you get feel very special. And so, like, we package it in this cardboard envelope. We also really wanted to be as like environmentally conscious as possible. So it's in this cardboard envelope, but we have a friend that owns a business screen print it for us. So it says, I mean, we don't need to do that, like you could just put it inside, but especially if you gift it, like it's just prettier when it says, you know, the adventure board on it.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, it's beautiful. When we opened ours and like pulled off the cover, it was like it was just it was it felt very yeah, special. Like that's exactly like opening it felt like a gift. Um, and it that's the first memory you have with your adventure board, right? Is like opening up this thing that's like a canvas for you to fill with your memories. Like, yeah, that's its own.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, now I will say, yeah, we are speaking of new things in kids, we're working on a kid-sized adventure board. So something so that each kid could have it by their own bunk or in their own room so that they could, if they wanted their own, they could have their own.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my gosh, I love that. They will our kids are sign us up for three. Yeah. Our kids are love it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Because they always they're always like our house.

SPEAKER_01

You know, there's we let the kids often pick the sticker. We'll we'll pick out like three of them, and then we'll be like, okay, which one do you guys want? And they're all there's always a you know, one kid that's like, but I want that one. And so now we can just be like, okay, you can have that one.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we try to do like a shared experience. So when we pick a sticker, it's like, okay, what did we all experience? But sometimes they're like, no, but I did this thing and I want a sticker that has this on it. And so sometimes they'll do their own, they put them on their water bottles, but you know that that doesn't last because water bottles don't last. Um, so yeah, anyway, that's a great idea, Melissa. We can't wait to see that one come out. That'll be fun.

SPEAKER_03

It's gonna make an adventure, Justin. I uh talked about it today in the podcast. It's time to do it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, if he says no, just tell us and we'll let it out. That'll make not make it. Justin's like, stop having ideas. Don't talk to the brand anymore.

SPEAKER_03

Oh no, that one has been that one has been brewing, and Kelly Raber had the best idea of like just she's like, just make it half the size of the her hor the horizon. Um they all come in horizontal or vertical. And I'm like, oh, that's so perfect. So thank you, Kelly.

SPEAKER_00

That's a great all right. So if someone wants to get their hands on an adventure board, Melissa, give us a lowdown. How did they get one and what did they do to order one?

SPEAKER_00

So I know that you guys are big at rallies. Your booths at events are always so beautiful, so well done. If anyone is at a rally the rest of 2026, where could they find you guys?

SPEAKER_03

That's so kind. We appreciate that. And we we have loved being at rallies. We're trying to do more. We are headed to the Music City Motor Home Rally, which we've never been to. So I'm excited about that in Nashville. And we're heading to the Alliance rally in May. This will be our third year there, and it's they're awesome. So we're excited about that. In July, we're going to Sedalia, Sedalia, Sedalia, Missouri. Yeah. For the FRVA. And we just did one of those in Georgia. And I have to tell you, the FRVA used to be FMCA, Family Motor Coach Association, and now they're for all RVs. So if you think, can I go? I just have an RV. Yes. And and then we're heading to Minot, North Dakota for Airstream Rally in August, and then back to Pennsylvania for Hershey RV show. So got a lot of traveling coming up. Should be fun. Love it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's very cool.

SPEAKER_03

Please come say hi to us. We absolutely love having those conversations and meeting people. And yeah, and we'll give you a sticker. That's fun.

SPEAKER_01

So we're excited to see you. I hope everybody else will go and say hello as well. You know, Melissa, it's so cool to hear about the inspiration for you know the adventure boards coming from an experience that you know stem from RVing, it stem from adventure and enjoying time together. Um, and so we've enjoyed our time together. We love chatting with you. It's so fun. Any chance we get, we love to hang out and chat with you. But thank you so much for talking about all the cool stuff that you guys are doing.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, thank you for having me and happy adventuring. We'll see you on the road. See you down the road.

SPEAKER_01

We'll see you down the road.
